Books as a hobby The reason why I mentioned 'books as a hobby' instead of 'reading as a hobby' is because, books can be a whole other monster when it becomes a hobby. Even if I'm not there yet due to unemployment, I strive to one day make my hobby of reading to a hobby of books. Basically books as a hobby means buying and collecting books while reading, writing, blogging, and discussing those said books. The best example for this is in your favourite booktoker (book tiktok) or your favourite book youtuber. I have a kindle account, a goodreads account and have signed up to many authors newsletters and websites. I'm currently trying to make time to start a YouTube channel for the same purpose.
